killer workout.

So, I was actually pretty proud of myself this Christmas. I didn't go overboard on sweets and eating like I did on Thanksgiving. Oofta.

It wasn't until I saw myself in the mirror at BodyPump class that I decided I needed a change.

Next week.

Anyway. I tried this workout yesterday from Peanut Butter Fingers blog, it's called the 10 to 6 work out.
It's basically 12 different exercises, and you do 10 reps of each, then 9, then 8, 7, 6. It was SUPER hard. I didn't think it was going to be as tough as it was. I was wrong!

I really like this girl's blog because she has a lot of great work outs that don't take too terribly long. That's my kind of work out by the way. Quick and tough. After the first couple of exercises my heart rate was definitely sky rocketing.

Check out her workouts page for more work out ideas.

Mirror redo

Hello all,
Hope you've been doing well.
I thought I would show you a couple pictures of a project I worked on awhile back.
My sister in law gave me this mirror that she found by the garbage of their old apartment, so she gave it to me.
I slapped some paint on it and voila!
The only problem is there's no place for it in our tiny apartment.
I'm thinking maybe removing the mirror and adding chicken wire to post pictures on? What do you think?

post-pie remorse

Anyone else feeling extremely overweight after Thanksgiving?
I sure am.
Although pumkin pie is delicious (to say the least) and has a lot of Vitamin A, I read in my Fitness magazine (after the fact) that it also packs about 300 calories per slice.
I'm not even going to figure how many calories I injested in pumkin pie alone.
yikes.
I hope you all had a wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving!
Hitting it hard and doing THIS workout today...
Have you ever checked out Bodybuilding.com?
It's awesome! And it's also where I get most of my workouts.
If you need me, I'll be in the gym... forever.
